Samanokami was talkative enough to reach the climax at last.  "Young ladies generally keep their appearance neat.  As you know, they have never experienced troubles.  They are always putting their hearts and souls into their own making up and dressing up.  When they write a letter, they often choose graceful words.  The way of writing is also faint, never clear with pitch-black india ink.  Therefore men are attracted by their unreliable way of writing, inclined to read the letter again and willing to receive the next one.  Suppose that after some exchanges of letters you could be close to a lady to the extent that you were able to hear her slight voice.  Even in such an intimate relation, a young lady, definitely different from an old woman, will often murmur under her slight breathing.  The difficulty to understand her by hearing her mosquito whisper is also helpful for concealment of her faults.  Never do we know what she is thinking about.

talkative enough to do で感じが出ていますが、それ以上に reach the climax at last という発想は見事で私にこういうことは思いつきません。 The way of writing is almost faint, never clear,,,,,, Their letters can only be seen faintly even if they write them with pitch-black india ink. to the extent that ~ の使い方も適切でした。 第7文の will often murmur までは良いとしてその後を so faintly that she can conceal her faults.

Sama-no-Kami continued to give a long speech to its climax.  ”Young girls are very pretty.  They have never gone through hardships.  They are just absorbed in making and dressing up and when they write a letter they choose gentle words and write so slightly in ink that men can scarcely read the letters ; they(男) look forward to receiving a letter from them(女) again so that they(男) can read it clearly.  When their love deepens, men visit and approach the young girls, while the latter, unlike middle-aged women, speak too faintly to hear anything.  They are clever enough to hide their defects.  There is no knowing what young girls are thinking about.

N君:赤で示した young girls speak too faintly to hear anything がひっかかります。
