それを見て母君が言った。「中納言兼輔も『人の親の心は闇にあらねども 子を思ふ道に惑ひぬるかな』と歌いましたが、今は亡き娘を思うが故に、暮れ惑って堪え難くなった親心の一端だけでもお話したら気が晴れるかもしれぬと思っております。どうか公のお使いばかりではなくお気楽な立場でも訪ねていらして下さい。
N君：中納言兼輔は紫式部のひいおじいさんで百人一首No.27「みかの原わきて流るる泉川 いつ見きとてか恋しかるらむ」を詠んだ人ですが、彼の最も有名な歌が「人の親の、、、」であって、源氏物語に度々引用されているそうです。紫式部も、身内の歌だから引用し易かったのでしょうか。

S先生：第1文は Just as SV, so SV の構成を使った上で、後半のVを先に持って来て強調したわけですね。第2文はちょっと説明的すぎるので I think I may feel better if I can disclose even part of my unbearable sadness. くらいに短くするほうが良いと思いました。第3文は歯切れが良くてOKと思います。
